In China, pollution kills 300,000 persons a year.
Chinese growth is done at the price of massive pollution.
Air pollution causes public health problems. The rate of sulfur dioxide exceeds the European standards. Today, in China pollution provokes the premature deaths of 300,000 persons a year. Coal is used in cooking and heating houses.
In eight years the quality of waters of rivers has deteriorated. Although the water is polluted people still use it to irrigate their fields.
