Hey,
today we finished viewing how to present, describe and comment a document.
Here is what we said:
III - Describe, comment, and analyse
1) Describe :
- Who ? -> characters
- Where ? ->Place
- When ? -> Time
- What is happening ?
- What happened ?
- What will hapen?
- How? -> feelings
2) Comment
-> the pictures shows that ...
It makes us aware of ...
It proves...
It criticizes...
The photographer wants to ...
IV - Give your opinion
To me, ...
As far as I am concerned, ...
To my mind, ...
In the second part of the hour, you had to focus on describing the picture in your book p. 152. As you didn't have time to finish today, you need to complete this as a homework for next time. You will need to be able to speak about this picture for about 2 to 5 minutes. Your oral presentation will be graded.
