Hey,
today we first had a little experiment with all my bags filled with unknown items. You had to guess what they were just thanks to your senses. Here is what you need to know as far as grammar is concerned:
-> Exprimer les 5 sens:
It smells / tastes / feels / sounds /
looks + adj
or
It smells / tastes / feels/ sounds / sounds + like + groupe nominal
or
...+ as if / as though + subordonnée
In the bag, the grapes felt as though they were eyes out of their
sockets. How disgusting!
Then we commented on the title of the book that we are going to study "Heart of Darkness". Here is what we said about the potential atmosphere and the characters:
The words that pop up in our minds are: scary / gloomy / bizarre / strange / uncanny / weird.
It may deal with a love relationship between a settler and a native, or a killing spree, or an evil force / an evil
monster / sorcerer.
Some new vocabulary:

pebble: galet
sand: sable
