Hey guys,
today we continued our analysis of the ad about the Ipad respecting the IDAHO method. Here is what we wrote in our copy books:
I : The document is an ad about Ipad2. The source is not mentioned but we can imagine that it was published on the internet or in the street on
billboards (in the metro, at bus stops...).
It was released before March 11 2011 since it is the date when the product
was launched.
D : The document can be divided into 3 parts:
The logo (and brand name) at the top, the
catch phrase below the logo and finally the picture of the product at the
bottom.
1. the logo: it represents the word Ipad2, in bold letters. The grey and black
letters give an impression of reflection. The logo is glistening.
2. The catchphrase: it gives information about the product. The catchphrase reads "..."
It gives the release date, the price and some characteristics of the
product.
3. The picture of the product: someone (probably the hand of a man) is laying/setting the product on a white table (the background is also pure white). The product is presented in profile. You can see the thickness and some icons for the applications.
