You really had a bad attitude today not cooperating to make the class go towards progress. You should be ashamed of it...
However, during the hour, we succeeded in saying some things about the swine flu :
"The swine flu is a type of flu that authorities are afraid of. It may become quite lethal and that's why the government has taken drastic measures. When you have the flu, you have a high fever / temperature, you sneeze a lot, and you feel sick".
Vous pouvez regarder cette vidéo qui vous donnera des précisions et notamment du vocabulaire concernant le virus :
Symptoms :
- fever
- cough (la toux)
- sore throat (mal de gorge, type angine)
- body aches / headaches
- chills (des frissons)
- fatigue (état de fatigue extrême)
The bionic man is the title of the text we have begun to study together.
Here is an extra copy :
""Bionic" means half human and half robot. For instance, a bionic hand is much stronger than a regular hand. It can me made of metal and is very resistant."
We read the text once and you had to read it on your own again, highlighting words related to "body parts" and "robots".
HW : for next time, you need to complete step 1 of your worksheet. See you then, with a better attitude !
