Since the discovery of the USA blacks have been discriminated against. Until 1865 blacks had to be slaves for white people. But after, segregation continued. They were discriminated against in many places, at water fountains, in waiting rooms and restaurants, on buses and even at school. But a man wanted to change the situation. And a woman too. They have been heard. But nowadays, segregation is continuing. We all believe in a better world. One day, we’ll all live together in peace.

The Coca-Cola Company Pledges to Replace the Water It Uses In Its Beverages and Their Production

Multi-year Partnership Announced with WWF to Conserve and Protect Freshwater Resources

The Coca-Cola Company has pledged to lead its global beverage operations, including those of its franchise bottlers, to replace the water it uses in its beverages and their production. The Company will focus its actions in three core areas:

1) reducing the water used to produce its beverages

2) recycling water used for beverage manufacturing processes

3) replenishing water in communities and nature.

Music : qd il s’agit d’une  Notion abstraite -> pas d’article

Ex : J’aime la musique= I like music

Mais quand elle est définie -> un article

Ex : I like the music you play

You play définit la musique

I like Ray Charles’ music

A song – songs

je peux les compter

ATTENTION

I’m listening to the songs -> Le mot est défini

People.

Ex : The people are nice= Les gens sont gentils.

Ex : The peoples of this country are nice = les peuples de ce pays sont gentils.

Information : My information is good – Mes informations sont bonnes

Quantifieurs :

Mots qui expriment une quantité

                                        Countable                  Uncountable

+

Many, a lot of, lots of

(=beaucoup de)

A lot of, lots of, much (=beaucoup de)

-

Few= (peu de)

A few (quelques), little (peu de), a little (un peu de)

Neutre

Some (des)

Some (du)

Time :

Quand time = le temps = Uncountable

Ex : how much time ? – Combien de temps ?

Quand time = fois = Countable

Ex : how many times ? – combien de fois ?

Site pour s’entrainer :         www.anglaisfacile.com

Thank you Julie for your notes.
